I downloaded the trial and it crashed twice before I could draw anything. Not a good sign that makes me want to buy it.

Does it work with windows xp pro 64 bit ? It crashed twice before I could get to use it. I was setting up the icons and it shut down.

Chances are if progeCAD crashes before you have a chance to bring up a drawing that there is either an issue with drivers currently installed on your disk (try going to the manufacturers and updating your drivers) or your system may be infected with malware (it is often difficult to tell since virus protection can only offer protection on malware it knows of, and then only after it has a chance to build that protection into the virus protection system).

In the case that your current shield against malware does not recognize the infection, you may want to get at least one other system installed and/or have your system rebuilt so that you are absolutely sure nothing is infecting your system again (make sure you have a good firewall turned on before reaching out to the Internet again).
