how do you get the drawing to resize and match the edited dimension?

I made a simple drawing in which I edited the dimension text. I had one dimension listed as .1875" and another at .5000".  The measurement of .1875" is still larger in the drawing than the .5000" measurement.  Does the drawing adjust to the edited measurement?  Can it?

No, in progeCAD most objects are not smart onjects, in other words, they dont know anything about their surroundings. However, dimensions are a little smarter, as long as you use them right. Inside each dimension entity is a dot or point as it were, which resides on the defpoints layer. If when you'd like to make a change to an object you can make the dimension change along with the object by using stretch or scale and making sure the point is inside your selection set. the dimension will grow (or shrink) along with your entity.
