Color - Index Colors tab

Select an index color. Each index color has a unique number from 1 to 255. BYLAYER is color number 256, and BYBLOCK is color number 0.

Standard Colors Choose one of the nine common index colors.

Gray Shades Choose a shade of gray.

Logical Colors Choose BYLAYER to assign an entity's color according to the color of its layer. Choose BYBLOCK to assign an entity's color according to the color of the block to which it belongs.

Full Color Palette Choose one of the index colors.

Current Displays the selected index color and its index number. Instead of clicking the desired color, you can select a color by typing its index number.
