Getting drawing information

progeCAD stores accurate, detailed information about all the entities in a drawing. You can get details about an existing drawing and its entities using the tools for measuring distances and calculating areas. You can also track the amount of time you spend editing a drawing. This section explains how to:

  • Measure distances along an entity.
  • Measure distances and angles.
  • Divide an entity into a number of equal segments.
  • Calculate areas.
  • Display information about entities in a drawing.
  • Track the amount of time spent editing a drawing.

Many of the functions described in this section require that you set progeCAD to the Advanced experience level.
