How do I delete lines hidden below other lines

I have inherited drawings that have two or more lines hidden under the top line - is there a simple way to delete the hidden lines?

Dear Customer,

when you have multiple overlapping lines, you can select each one of these, to delete the undesired ones and to only keep the necessary element.
To do it, locate the mouse pointer above them, and press the CTRL key multiple times, together with the left mouse button.
A window with certain instructions will probably appear, the first time you'll do it. Simply press the Close button, to hide it, and proceed with the selection keeping the CTRL key pressed.

We look forward to receiving your feedback. Please forward it to the support@progecad.com email addess, thank you.

Best Regards
