Scale My Plotter
I've been using AutoCAD for over 20 years, recently I've been experiencing Fatal errors so I thought I'd try the 30 day free trial of progeCAD and am very impressed, The only thing I have not been able to do is to calibrate my plotter with your program, we use our drawings to paste on copper plate to be cutout with a band saw so the drawings need to be the exact size, when I draw a horizontal line 32" long it ends up being .090" short the 22" vertical line is ok, My plotter is a HP Designjet 510. Can you help?
Smart End of the Tape Measure
Dear progeCAD Customer,
we'd like to be able to reproduce the unexpected behavior you highlighted, to properly assist you.
Please forward a sample copy of the origin drawing, and a sample image displaying your print settings. Did you verify the horizontal line to be short, directly analyzing your printout?
Right now, we suggest you to print the same drawing to PDF, via the progeCAD PDF Printer. What result do you obtain, if you therefore print this PDF with the HP 510 printer? Are elements correctly scaled?
We look forward to receiving your feedback, and the information/data that we asked for.
Please forward these to the email@example.com email address. Thank you.
