Program locks up when saving a drawing to a network drive.

The problem only shows in progecad and then only when saving to a network drive.

This is quite common and actually is a problem for any software which is trying to maintain latent or unreliable connections. AutoCAD has had, or still does dependent on the network, quite similar issues though that problem resulted in a corrupt drawing displaying an eread error. This was quite an issue for a company I worked for until we recognized what was causing these seemingly random errors.

We recommend you always work locally when using progeCAD. In other words, copy your file to your local drive if it is located on a network, and then copy it back when finished. There are drawing management systems which can automate this process as well as lock out more than one person from editing the file. Any Management App which works with generic filetypes or specifically with DWG will work in case you need to implement one of these drawing management systems.
