how to import .shp or .shx files into drawing using progeCAD

I use information from the county GIS website to create a map; parcel lines, flood lines, streets, etc. The files that download are .shp, .shx, etc. how do you insert/import these files into a drawing.

I believe you would use the shape command to import shp, although it is a seldom used feature. If it exists at all. I don't have a machine right at the moment to test it out.

shx files are compiled shape files and my understanding was that they were for describing a font to progeCAD and thus were used in the style command when defining display and characteristics of the font making up text.
