draw a straight line snapped between two parrallel lines

Hi there
I was wondering how you can draw a straight line in between two parrallel lines which snaps to both lines and is at right angles, in other words like a capital H.  When I snap it won't keep it at 90 degrees even if I hold down the shift key.

Okay, I figured it out myself - you need the 'perpendicular' option on in entity snap and then you need to WAIT until you see the little icon change (about 2 seconds).

Right, your esnap needs to be set to perp. I usually don't use running esnaps, or those you set to be on all the time. The reason for this is that too many esnaps can confuse the cook. progeCAD will not know which esnap you mean of you overload it with esnaps which can easily happen if they are set to always be on.
