When drawing a line, how can I get it to snap to all 3 dimensions (x,y,z), I only want to specify length.

I only seem to be able to get the snap to work for drawing lines in 2 dimensions at a time.  I would like to be able to snap to all 3 coords, when viewing isometrically.  Is there a way to do this?  I would rather not figure out the xyz coordinates of every point.  Thanks in advance!

I am not sure quite what you are trying to do. Snap sets the increment of drawing units to allow you to say keep all items placed in your drawing held to a 6" snap, or increment. If you are actually speaking of esnap, or entity snap, it should always snap to the actual entity selected, with the esnap point dependent on the setting and where on the object to select. If you wish to define objects in a different plane from the default (plan view) you need to set your UCS to a different plane before drawing.
