Why does progeCAD crash when I try to import or export under DPpoints?

I'm using Windows 8.1.  I've tried several times to import PNEZD from a .txt file (renamed from .csv which is what I download from my TDS Survey Pro on Recon) and it always crashes saying, "...has stopped working".  It also crashes trying to export and when I (foolishly?) tried to use a page setup name from my previous AutoCAD.  I'm trying to replace my beloved Terramodel and progeEARTH is useless if I can't use points.

Try typing in the path and filename rather than browsing using the dialog. There seems to be a bug that is not showing up for everyone that may have something to do with the browse dialog. Typing in the path and file may be a workaround you can use until the problem is fixed.

I thought we had overcome this problem, but I just tried it and it crashed.  I open the program, set the drafting scale and them click Dppoints, import points, PNEZD.  In the explorer, I find the folder, then type "15-008.csv"  When I click to open the program stops.

Even if I cancel instead of choosing a file it crashes.
