How can I change "shaded viewport options" to print 3D in monochrome?

I have a 3D model in Mspace.  Several layout drawings use viewports to display details from the model.  When I go to plot, the print styles are disabled due to "shaded viewport options", but the shaded viewport options categories are grayed out so I can't change them.  I am trying to print monochrome for permit submittals, and all I get is color.
