How Do I Remove Hatch
I am importing patterns from a PDF file to cut on a laser. When the PDF file is read and converted, it fills the interior space with a HATCH. Even though I have exploded the drawing, selected the HATCH and deleted it, a HATCH section is still exported in the ASCII DXF file. My laser software doesn't understand the HATCH command when importing the DXF. How can I completely remove a HATCH?
Smart End of the Tape Measure
If you are sure no more hatch patterns exist in the drawing (do a LIST command and window the entire drawing, make sure all layers are on and thawed, checking the returned entities for a hatch), it could be an anonymous block which are used for hatch patterns. Blocks are defined but non necessarily used by the visual display of the drawing. Two ways to get rid of all block definitions, the PURGE command, and by doing a WBLOCK command and windowing all objects in the drawing and writing them out to either a new file or the same file (making sure to quit after the wblock and open the file again).
