How to draw in the layout view?

I'm just checking out the trial version of progeCAD and can't seem to draw in the tab or layout view (paper space).  When I change to a layout view all I have is a select pick box. I must be missing something. How do I draw in the layout view?

Dear Richard,

accessing a Layout, in a progeCAD Drawing, the commands to draw additional elements are expected to be available.
To clearly focus your report, we'd like to receive an image that clearly highlights it, showing the whole progeCAD screen.
In addition, please forward the list of steps that you follow, trying to draw your elements.

However, you commonly use a layout to define the viewports to display the Model space contents, scaling their content to the desired amount. To insert them, access the progeCAD View > Viewports menu, and recall the available options.

We look forward to receiving the information/data that we asked for. We will be able, after receiving them, to assist you the best way.
Please forward them to the support@progecad.com email address. Thank you.

Best regards
