How can I deal with Civil 3D?

I am trying to use a drawing created in Civil 3D and cannot get the contours to come into the drawing properly.  How can this be handled?

I don't believe there is a converter for the custom objects created by Civil 3D built into progeCAD. Have the originator of the file explode the contours before sending the file to you as that will change the entities from custom objects to standard DWG entities. See the blog post at http://blog.progecad.us/2014/04/the-secret-war-on-dwg.html for more information on custom objects, and how the battle for DWG and ownership of your drawings has been going on behind the scenes for the last decade.
