Can progeCAD import PDF drawings into CAD format and be used as a .dwg file?

I have seen demonstrations on youtube that show .pdf drawing files(of Cad/.dwg files)that can be imported into some versions of CAD software and then changed back to a .dwg CAD file and saved. This drawing can then be opened and changed as you would with any CAD/.dwg file. Can progeCAD do this?

I know of no other CAD software (meaning the actual software itself, not an add-on purchased seperately) that can convert PDF to DWG other than progeCAD. progeCAD can take a PDF file and import to DWG, including maintaining layers (if the PDF file includes that information when created). Most modern adobe PDF files do support layers so they should be imported almost exactly as the files were created in DWG.

I often use "Any PDF to DWG" converter to convert my pdf's to dwg. It does a good job except the text come in as lines and shading rather than actual text. Go to http://anydwg.com to try it. There are several other out there too.
