How do I align grid snap to imported drawing from pdf converter?

I imported a dwg through pdf converter, and the grid snap spacing I use does not snap to the points on the drawing that I need to edit.  Is there a method to move the dwg on the space to align it to the grid?  Maybe a global setting?  This is only a 2D drawing.

Chances are that when you import the PDF it assigns the basepoint variable to be 0,0. If you find the scale factor of the imported PDF to be correct (I think they all come in 1:1 so this might be the issue rather than the basepoint), then you can use the basept command to modify the base point of the drawing so that the objects lie on a grid exactly. I would think that the problem is not the grid but the scale factor. In any case, the grid can be changed by using the command grid and setting it to what you feel is the proper setting. Grid does not have to be the same size as your snap. you can set snap with the snap command.
